For a start he's switched off weapon sway, likely HUD switched off so you can't see infinite ammo and make you believe it's a harder setting. I'm sure if you made all your settings the same you'd be just as good.

would have bought the game, but i watched the entire 14 hours and it was beyond stupid to the point of evil. Evil Dog from now on. I'm not traumatized by the story, which does kill brain cells, but rather the pure evil of the whole thing (if you think indiscriminate murder is evil). and who's their target audience? 15 year old girls? middle aged women? totally schizo. it's like if Far Cry was a movie on Lifetime. It's a pastiche of stuff that doesn't belong in the same universe.

Pretty sure he's using infinite ammo too, if it was grounded he'd be constantly scavenging, but he never even recovers crossbow bolts when they're right in front of him

You can try this on grounded and you will see that it is possible. Also as you saw as soon as I shot him they knew where I was. I understand that people might be skeptical but trust me, you can try these encounters EXACTLY how I did them and you will get the same results.
