i'm curious to see how much the actual series looks like that. drawing a cool promo poster is one thing, but actually putting those designs in motion is another. if it does actually look that detailed, it'll be quite impressive
Unbelievable, simply unbelievable! I do not know what is going through the heads of the higher ups at Marvel. They probably are not even looking at the quality of the shows at all and are only concerned with market value only. We'll see how this new show goes, but if it turns out like Ultimate Spiderman, I won't be supporting Marvel's shows anymore.
i like both of dc's shows. you're right about young justice. it's created by greg weisman who did spectacular spider-man and gargoyles. in fact there's an episode that features a very spider-man like villain voices by spectacular's peter parker voice actor, josh keaton who is now hal jordan on green lantern.

you're probably right, i did a video about it back when it happened but i don't really remember the details anymore. i still feel like somehow, if they really wanted to, they could have found a way to keep it going. it just seems like they have been doing a poor job of running things.
They cater the new shows to 7 year olds for merchandising. The kid will want the doll, pajamas, lunch box, note book, Halloween costume etc. The adult will just watch the show and be a fan and talk about it. All about money and how to move any and everything associated with the show.
thing is that i dont like is that they would cancel a good when my favorite hero(vision) finally makes his major appearance since avengers united they stand, i saw the lineup in the new cartoon and everyone is in it but him, wasp, ms marvel, and i believe antman who were all my favorites :(
The reason why avengers is getting cancelled is that the plan was always to a 52 episode order.now that has been fullfilled the show is done.in addition the way cartoons sustain longevity is that the merchandise has to sell.

After seeing some of the clips from Ultimate SM, I realized how Marvel took this title and made it in the same way that DC did with Teen Titans, same idea, diff characters. Avengers EMH is taking after JLU, presenting the same characters and bringing new characters to the stories much like JLU did, this formula works due to the fact that Marvel has a HUGE selection of characters unlike they did with Avengers United. It sucks that Marvel canceled this show in order to recreate the Avengers again.
i read that too. i'm not sure if it's his personal preference or he just thinks that stories for kids need to be very simple and easy to follow. either way, unless you can do it as well as batman the animated series, it usually just weakens the story and lessens incentive to follow it.
i agree. i have a hatred for spongebob because of what it has done to the landscape of cartoons. in this post spongebob era, you can't find anything like doug, hey arnold, or recess. it's all a lot more silly, but not in the way warner was able to do it with animaniacs. these shows lack that wit and charm

DC is making higher quality shows, but EMH is on a higher level than USM. The storytelling is more involved and the dialogue is more mature. USM tells stories that are pretty much contained to single episodes while EMH builds stories throughout the season such as their adaptation of the Secret Invasion storyline.
I think Ultimate Spiderman is a good show, although it is a bit silly, but it is funny and Spiderman Is one of those funnier heroes! You know, telling jokes as he kicks ass?
i have to agree. the quality of the art style/animation wasn't on par with young justice. good story, some good voice acting, but the visuals of the show were its weakest area.
