- In this video, we install the Front 14 inch Disc purchased from @summitracing, and manufactured by The Right Stuff Detailing aka www.getdiscbrakes.com
We also talk about some great Automotive UA-cam Channels
Would of been nice to know what vehicle this was
I like the type 3’s
I purchased the same product through Summitt also. Installed on a 1970 Nova, 14" stock wheels. Very easy install, I think anyone with a little mechanical aptitude could do.
My question for you is, were your outer pads the same size? My outer drivers side pad is 1/8" (3/8 thick) thicker than the passenger side (1/4" thick). Just curious, Summitt sent me a replacement because I think they should be the same. They are identical to my first set, one thicker than the other. Went to an auto parts store to check out a set of pads for a 69 Chevelle (which The Right Stuff said the calipers were off of) not even close to the same pads as what were shipped, which look identical to yours.
Just looking in every direction to find an answer.
Sorry I did not notice a difference during installation. It could be a pad manufacturing issue.
@@muricasgarage1016 it is. Ended up buying a new set from a parts store. They are correct. I was told they get pads in bulk and just put on what comes out of the box.
My dad is working on putting this kit on a 66 chevelle, it gave him a spacer to put on the top bolt of the spindle bracket and it throws the bracket way out of whack, do you not need to use the spacer?
The spacer is for spindles that already had disc brakes.
Does anyone know the dimensions in that spacer? Mine were misplaced and I’ll need to have some made.
Horrible music !
