Just a simple, fun (ig) video about some animes that fell off. No offense to anyone, we're all weebs. Tags: #anime #videoessay #spyxfamily #myheroacademia #jojo
Shield Hero was a pretty good anime in it's first season. It had it's generic isekai aspects but the story at the start was genuinely compelling. Framed by someone just for being the shield hero which he didn't even choose and then given hell by everyone for something he didn't even do. The only reason the seasons past suck is because after that plot point got resolved it just felt purposeless
It started good, i'll give u that. But i couldn't get through some episodes. And abbut season 2 and 3, i agree with u completly. And now season 4 is confirmed and we'll see how it's goin to turn out.
I like rising of shield hero. Season 1 was a great story, the main character is despised by everyone for something he was framed for, and has to work his way up to get revenge. Season 2 was pretty ok, not as good without the revenge story but its still fine. I havent watched season 3 yet. The main problems I have with it are the weird daughter --> lover relationship the mc has, and the spear hero's loli complex. (Sorry if this isn't very detailed I'm trying not to spoil the show)
It's all good, I get what you're saying. For me, I actually liked that aspect of season 1. My issue was with the writing and the dialogue-they just weren’t as engaging as the concept itself.
I like season 1 only because of the hopelessness of the betrayal. It was brutal, and there wasn't some scene immediately after where he finds proof. He was hated, and there wasn't anything he could do about it. Then there was a reversal and regular isekai stuff happened
5:59 jjba didn’t even fall off like what are you talking about, wait till steel ball run(part 7) gets animated, I promise it will be the greatest anime except One Piece of all time
no no i didn't mean fall off in terms of quality. i loved part 6. m talking in terms of popularity, and how Netflix batch release killed the hype. Loved part 6 and i've read part 7. i can't wait for the adaptation.
@The_EverythingYT Yea I'm sorry, once I saw the reason I wanted to edit my comment but I couldn't, and then I tried deleting it but it also didn't work
I don’t cry or complain about shows, I simply stop watching em and wait till they get better. If enough of us follow that we can fix these simple problems. Because like everything on this planet, animators run off money so take that away and they’re forced to push out better content.
I'm not sure if you think I'm complaining because I'm not. The only issue I really care about from all the anime I mentioned is with JoJo, especially with Part 7 coming up. I don't want the same mistakes to be repeated. Regarding shows improving, once a show goes downhill, it's rare for it to make a comeback. It's not feasible to invest resources into a project that's lost its audience.
@@The_EverythingYT I’m not saying you’re complaining at all but I have seen a lot of ppl complain about it in general. The manor you expressed your opinion about the situation was not complaining in my opinion but yet I wish the audience would let it ride instead of investing their time complaining while still giving them money. It definitely happens though, production companies giving their art to unreliable ppl that don’t care about nothing but a dollar. I’m upset as well about animators making this decision so maybe you’re right. Speaking about the situation to animators is a big part of it but I don’t think we should fund them while we do it. I feel like we should treat these situations like a strike.
First vid of yours I've seen and I love the vibe! Feels more chill and normal compared to anime UA-cam these days. Subscribed when I saw the Izaya screenshot! Durarara #1!!!
Hi there! About the reasons My Hero Academia isn't the top of too anymore is actually due to interesting social variables! I know it's probably not interesting to you, but hear me out. 2 main social factors attribute to these changes from what I've seen. 1. Series is disengagement, an issue for long time shows. With how long MHA is, it's lost alot of people's engagement for a few reasons. One reason is how some sections of the story are very slow, or very repetitive in some way, leading to many dropping it and forgetting it. Seasons 1-3 kept your attention so well because there was constant action and story development going on all at once. The second reason is lack of advertising. Back when MHA season 3 was out, you saw advertisements from Crunchyroll about it everywhere. These days, since the series is well known, they don't seem to care as much about advertising it, leading to a decrease of new people watching the anime. I know nobody probably cares, but figured I'd share some things I noticed over the years.
The quality of the show is a big deal too (like how it looks). If it’s just like watching moving colored panels, might as well read the manga, right? Watch the first 3 seasons and then jump to season 7. You’ll see what I mean. I watched MHA last year, and the quality definitely went downhill.
The current state of the series will also discourage people to get back to watch the anime. The story wanted to get more serious and dark but tone and worldbuilding weren't planned for it from the start. The tragedy factor in the narrative is... just trash: • Most tragic deaths are nobodies; even the most catastrophic event was just the mass murder of those nobodies, off-camera. I know killing important characters is like the old reliable (specially killing the mentor), kinda a cliché, but c'mon, where are the consequences and meaningful loses? • The message of justice reached (crashed on) the same wall as Steven Universe and Naruto: Forgive goddamn genocide. • It's just me or civilian casualties are handled like a Marvel movie? I mean, the human lives that should be taken after the destruction of an entire city end up as a nonexistent factor. • The conflicted protagonist arc kinda meant nothing, didn't it? At least Bomberman death was funny while it lasted.
@@The_EverythingYTyou are acting as if the animation went down hill but not really. This most recent season is probably on par animation wise with the first 3 seasons.
@@mangamandrew Seriously? I'm watching the season exactly as it's laid out in the manga, matching every chapter and scene to see how they compare. Besides some color work and minor compositing, the animation effort is almost non-existent. In the earlier four seasons, there were some beautifully animated sequences that really stood out. But from what I've seen of season 7, except for the first couple of episodes, nothing has been particularly impressive, including the much-anticipated fight between Todoroki and Dabi. That fight was just blue flames, a bit of ice, a single punch, and too many flashbacks. I don't see what you're referring to.
The guy speaks the truth, I wonder how long it will before the masses of toxic defenders arrive at his doorstep. Keep up the good work man, we are behind you
I think Netflix was doing the same thing that they did with jojos release time that they did with the last season of old pokemon and the new pokemon series also the dub is like 25 episodes behind sub for pokemon horizons, but i don't know how dubing works so who knows
@@The_EverythingYT then there's this cartoon called winx club Ive watched so many cartoons to the point where winx club is just like some anime but after season four of the original series they messed up the plot putting the winx back in college because nickelodeon had the rights to create it. season 8 changed the designs to make it look more childish like pokemon. It got a another animated series on Netflix called world of winx which was ok and a live action series that looks like riverdale also removing out some of the main characters. and then the creators of winx are now creating a new reboot of the original series that's 3d animated.

If they could just release the episodes weekly like they did with Dungeon Meshi, It would've been much better for the anime community.

For Spy Family
i saw alot of Yor in the trailers ...
i dont like Yor
her jokes are always the same
her character (atleast to me) doesnt seem to evolve
and whenever season 2 does come up somewhere
all i see is yor
so
i just saw it as "ok bait and switch its the yor show now" so i skipped it
im more into the "how a spy tries to deal with family life while trying not to get too attached" parts of the show
It just happened to be an arc about her, cause she's a main character too. i enjoyed it, lot of good fights.
Lucky you, she hasnt had a apoken line since
truths were spoken
Sum1 has to say them 😉
