It's best to propagate leaves a few days after you have watered the plants the leaves will be nice and plump:)

In total honesty I've never even considered that - thanks for sharing what an awesome technique! I'm sure the same applies whilst propping hardwood/softwood cuttings also eh? :)

@@potscape6756 np :) I should imagine so, I've been watching a tonne, and I mean a tonne of videos on succulents and propagation as I've had a binge and bought quite a few and by that I mean 30 +🙈🙈 from etsy and ebay and I'm trying to research how not to kill all these sucs. That was one tip from several videos was to take leaves a few days after watering as they will be plump, full of water and nutrition for re growth. Hope that makes sense :)

Why did you chose a pot without drainage holes? The roots of plants are likely to rot in these pots because of waterlogging.

The pot with the main specimen has a drainage hole, standard to most terracotta pots - the dish I'm using to prop leaves in hasn't any drainage, but equally it only gets lightly sprayed so I'm confident I don't have to worry about rot if only using temporarily until I see roots!

@@potscape6756 How so they look like now? Did they root?

@@abbasduman6963 In total honesty I've had some ups and downs with my Adromischus leaflings recently, they rooted well but dried out on a few occasions whilst I was at work! We're planning on changing how we record now so I'll make sure my next topic is all about my small Adromischus collection (one of my favourite succulent genus)!
