State Street Ballet studio excerpts

At what's coming up for State Street ballet. The company will be performing Edgar Zendejas's stunning "Common Ground" with Detroit's Eisenhower Dance and Montreal's ezdanza on tour. Also on the program will be Autumn Eckman's amusing "Celluloid Heroes" and a delightful pas de deux also choreographed by Edgar Zendejas set to lush music from "Spartacus" by Aram Khachaturian. Here dancers Leila Drake Fossek, Meredith Harrill, Kate Kadow, John Piel, Cecily Stewart and Jack Stewart run through the pieces to create a record of the choreography for use in future rehearsals.
