This girls has gotta be one of the most hard working musicians out there ever. She's been around for a while now here in Finland, but never really made it in the traditional sense (big record company, radio play etc.) Though she says she is happy for being able to do exactly what she wants and for having a very loyal (albeit smallish) fan base. She is incredibly versatile (search UA-cam for her songs in fluent Mandarin!) and talented. I wish her all the best. Not many last as long as she has, pursuing her dream.
And now she is in the X Factor!!

Kinda sounds like a mix of a ballad, swedish eurovision pop, modern electro music and oriental elements - it's really nice!

She's been on multiple Music competitions always coming in second. Which is a damn shame since she was the most technical and talented singer every single time.

not sure she should be on the X Factor it's a show for unknowns she acted like she was looking for a break she's already famous hell she sang at Univision competition I don't think X X-Factor should let her compete what are you think
+Larry Fries Lol first of all she did not sing for Finland in the Eurovision song contest earlier in February she competed in a competition to represent Finland with a bunch of other singers, unfortunately she came 2nd place with this song and so she has come to the UK to get help with her music career same as every other person on that show.... Look at last year with the girl group 4th Impact they were already known in by people since they performed in talent shows in Asia but came to the UK X factor because it a bigger and better platform to show their talent, just like Saara. Besides lol she admitted on the show she did a lot of talent shows in Finland so shes not really hiding anything from the public. Personally I really like her hope she gets far in the competition.
Look up Sada Vidoo, she is in X Factor UK atm too, but she has already sold platinum in Denmark.

Welcome X Factor UK viewers who Googled Saara Aalto. Yes, Saara is already a successful artist. Yes, X Factor UK is making you think she's some random nobody from Finland. Yes, X Factor knows about this and is quite happy to continue being the fake show it is.
She also voice acted Princess Anna in Frozen Finnish dub.
Maybe she's just not "random nobody from Finland", but it's not like she is already a popular singer. She has been in talent competitions before, but she still hasn't made her break through, though some people may know her name. But she is really talented singer and trying to make an international career (which isn't easy, if you're from Finland), so I really hope that she will succeed in the X Factor.
And it's ridiculous to even compare any Finnish talent show to the X Factor UK, because the level of talent and the size of the audience are so far from each other.
No one knows her outside Finland. She's no famous.
You do realise that she didnt mention a word about eurovision, if she did they would have shown footage of it. I recognised her straight away and knew she was going to go through. Shes only known in Finland so I dont know what makes X Factor look fake to you if she only said shes from Finland.

Just don't like the song. Saara sings well, but the song is terrible.
she does not sing well, and the song is garbage. i can't understand people rooting for absolute spiritless mediocrity. maybe they relate to it in a deeper level, as they too are void of any real emotions, unless TV tells them to feel something.

This answer comes really late but this was really political song. This was during both immigrant crisis and when gender neutral marriage was about to be legalized in Finland. People hated the message with burning passion. They hated Saara even during the x factor and Eurovision. These people were monsters.
I always say everything happens for a reason. and maybe not winning was the best thing that could have happened. As the x factor in the UK is great for Saara

I think her problem is that she's been singing crap songs like this one all her career. Hopefully she does well in X-Factor and they provide her with some material that puts her impressive skills to better use.

Saara Aalto was robbed in 2011 coming 2nd singing "Blessed with Love" and I'm so glad she's back in the Finnish selection! She also finished runner-up on The Voice of Finland right? Oh yeah, that song was (and still is) insanely popular here! I'm very glad you liked Cancun ^^ I've also used those jet ski boats and it feels amazing and of course the Mexican food is unique! Wow, I'm sure, that I'll always love her voice. :D She is one of my favorite Annas, and she didn't let me down. Concerning her skills, she is amazing here, the chorus part of the song could have been a bit better, but other parts are so great. :D That's a pity, that she didn't qualify.
