I'm waiting for self driving cars, I hate people always trying to pressure me into driving, I just don't want to, it serves me no use, I cycle really fast and it cost me not one penny, if I need to go somewhere far, which isn't often II get a bus, train or taxi, and if I want something like a big shop I just get it delivered Drivers always make it seem like driving is so important, and it gives you freedom, not really, it cost quite a lot of money and stress, drivers are always worried about someone damaging or stealing their car, because it puts up their insurance, always worried about speeding cameras and other drivers. It ain't all it's cracked up to be, It might take another 10 years for self driving to come in, but I'm happy to wait
Yeah, the thing about getting into a crash: terrifying experience. It's why I don't drive either, but I have to inevitably take car rides to go places.
I never see gas prices at $1.50 or $1.79 . These days gas is $3 and change . But yeah these days u gotta be prepared. Best thing to do is keep some spare money in your car . But hide it so no one steals it . Then you'll never have to worry about getting stuck in the middle of the road or on the side street stuck there and s... Car insurance is $300 at the lowest . $300 unless you get an old used car from 2000 up to 2007 I believe . Buses are $2 a ride . Cabs are better though cause they run 24 hours a day . Buses do not . Certain areas depending on where u live the bus runs only until 8 pm . Which sucks especially if u gotta work till 10 pm . Then it's like how r u going to get home? Unless you take the cab ?
You should have considered yourself lucky back then (I know you don't want to drive) your parents wanted to put you through driving school. My family didn't want to help me get to my license. A non-family member helped me with getting my license. I didn't get my license until my late 20's. As for driving school, for anyone who wants to learn to drive, it's better to learn to drive first, then when you're about to do driving test, do driving school. It helps with passing test.

Back then, I was asking and wanting my family to help me get my license so I can drive whenever I wanted to start. I was trying to pretty much say I wish my family was as eager as Steve's to get me driving. It's okay for Steve to not drive. My comment wasn't meant to bash Steve.
