Die fährt nicht über 299, da die wie alle neueren Japaner bei 298 abgeriegelt ist. Auch sind die angezeigten 299 nicht annähernd die reale Geschwindigkeit, da der Tacho immer abweicht und noch Schlupf dazu kommt. Reale Geschwindigkeit wird in den 270ern liegen.
Schwachsinn ... die 1000er sind meistens mit 295kmh eingetragen! Wenn du den 6. Gang komplett ausfährst, landest du bei den abgeriegelten 298kmh, aber wenn du den Gangsensor übergehst und den Drehzahlbegrenzer im 6. Gang entfernen lässt, laufen die Maschinen auch die echten 320!
They really limit the Power at ~315, like the 250km/h Limit mostly begins at 265. The Ninja H2 or Hayabusa do it. But you don´t see it on the Display :-) It´s a Show of responsibility from the Manufactors. It´s no selflimit. You won´t perhaps believe. Nick V. In serial bikes who run factory settings it does stop at 299 km/h. The reason is safety mechanism that stops stock bikes from accelerating beyond 299 km/h. Maybe this guy you talked to owns a modified one that can go above 300 km/h. It's a possibility.
therionman52 I know serial bikes stop at 299. also mine :) at 299 i have 12.500 revs. then i go litle further to 14.000 rpm but counter stops at 299 indeed.
Madsch1 "tiny bit" comes with better driver... trust me been there meny times and eaten gsx-r bike too. R1 200- 299kmh faster. Olso 0-200kmh "bit" longer transmission ratios 1-2 gears. 1gear 164kmh 2gear 200++ there comes to 0-200kmh difference. And after 200kmh R1 is way faster to 300kmh
verneri883 From my point of view it is the other way round, altough I am at least 10 kilos heavier than my friend on the R1. And the transmission is more or less identical. "eaten" is the wrong word...slightly faster would be the better word, because these bikes are on the same level. Of course it depends on the driver...one shift fail and thats it
And to think, the Bikers in the 60's all aspired to hit "The Ton"(100mph) in top gear. I saw 185mph on my K5. at that speed I could see everything as though time slowed down.
1. Weil der Schwerpunkt extrem tief liegt. 2. Seit ich das Öhlinsfahrwerk verbaut hab, steig sie auch nicht mehr so leicht auf. 3. Weil ich fast am vorne am Tank gelegen bin. Zum Wheeliefahren einfach etwas mehr zurücklehnen und im 1ten oder 2ten Gang ziemlich voll aufdrehen...würd ich aber nur empfehlen, wenn du schon ein, zwei Jahre gefahren bist

Is this the stock sprockets setup or is it set for speed? idk what the K7 1000 does stock but i know my 750 K8 does 187km/h on 2nd gear stock (well i haven't reached the rev limit yet but i don't expect more than 190 on the speedo on 2nd) Anyhow! awesome bike, guess this is closer to 200bhp by the text saying u have a full exhaust (and i suppose a software for it as well)
@scotchali That's right, the bike runs 299km/h without changing the sprocket and it doesn't matter if you change the front or the rear sprocket(font bigger or rear smaller). Believe me, this bike is as fast as shown on the video. It accelerates like a rocket.
