Hey bro, it completely depends on the profile, Let say you want to work in audit, so basically you have to prepare for technicals for audit only, Also whatever practical experience you have in audit that will also helps to get in to audit

Hey On Day 1 you can wear formal shirt and pant, that is completely fine, Otherwise if you want you can wear suit as well
