Thanks for the review. Im trying to decide whether to get these for some pretty technical high alpine caves with rivers in them. Do you know how thick that lining is? And do you know of any other boots that are also good for cayoneering type stuff.

1.5mm sticks in my head though I can't find that anywhere online - but that looks about right: 1.5/2mm-ish. I bought them one size bigger than my shoe size and that means I can easily wear 3mm neoprene socks inside - I was out in freezing conditions with ice on the water and able to stay out for at least three hours in and out of the water (though my feet were cold by the end). The other ones I know of are La Sportiva TX Canyon but I've not yet found an excuse to buy them, so can't comment

@@Grade1Scrambler Yeah I'm really curious about the TX Canyons as well. I think I'd get the Adidas over them just because they're like $60 cheaper for me (and I like the red).

@@Isaac_L.. Haha - so true about the colour being an attraction. One plus on the TX Canyons, though, is that they seem to be a reasonable amount lighter so maybe feel a bit less like Frankenstein's monster clumping around than with the Adidas
