    This week's dinosaur of the day is Titanoceratops
    Chasmosaurine ceratopsian that lived in the Late Cretaceous in what is now New Mexico, U.S.
    Chasmosaurs are known for their large brow horns and big frills. One of the most well known chasmosaurs is Triceratops
    Large ceratopsian
    Looked a lot like Triceratops, walked on four legs, had a short tail, had a large frill, two horns above its eyes and a nasal horn
    Being a ceratopsian, also had a beak (rostrum)
    One of the largest known ceratopsids
    Estimated to be about 22.3 ft (6.8 m) long
    Estimated to weigh 7.2 tons
    Gregory Paul estimated in 2016 it to be 21.3 ft (6.5 m) long and weigh 4.9 tons
    Similar in size to Triceratops
    A large Triceratops estimated to weigh about 7 tons, though there are larger Triceratops (one estimated to weigh 7.8 tons)
    Skull is incomplete, but is about 8.7 ft (2.65 m) long
    Controversial genus
    Named in 2011 by Nicholas Longrich
    Type and only species is Titanoceratops ouranos
