Dr. Claudia Gross was on my podcast a few years ago, as well as another woman from Europe. One of them joined a few MLMs to obtain an inside perspective and the other one did some legal work for Amway as an intern. She was offered a job and declined, as she noticed far too many issues that were ethical, moral, and/or legal in nature.
The 1% from the effort of 100 others versus 100% of your own effort is almost always attributed to Nelson D. Rockefeller. It's actually not that brilliant of a quote when you think about it - would you rather dig ditches yourself or hire 100 people to dig ditches? This concept applies to the smallest operation with workers to the largest conglomerate.
@WatchBeforeYouJoin-n1j Agree with this, particularly when it comes to overhead costs, which eat up gross profit and make net profit negative, i.e., lose money for most distributors. That's why I didn't use an MLM as the example to illustrate the concept.

Most of the money the top Diamonds in MLM Make comes from the selling of the Tools.
By a large margin
@@Linda-tv6fn Glenn, this is particularly true for Amway.

Many MLM chestnuts don't withstand examination; they just sound good, and that's enough for the victims.
