LOL! I always loved how disappointed Viki seemed when she learned Megan, not Sarah, was her daughter! Megan and Viki are awesome together in scenes....Oh the hate! They play off each other very well.
Wow. What a crazy retcon. Irene Manning was supposed to be Viki's college buddy and gave birth to Tina in 1962 around the age of 19. Then we find out that Viki, in 1963 at 17, as a high school senior, gave birth to Megan. WTF? This SO doesn't add up. Did no one in the writer's room say, "Hey, wait a minute!"?
I think the whole genre of soap opera is "Hey, wait a minute". People die and then come back to life some multiple times. People discover they have children that they didn't know about usually men, but it happened to Vicki twice. Three-year-old children aren't seen for a couple of years and then appear as 15 or 16-year-olds.
We wore sooooo much makeup back then! Oh dear :) It took so long to get ready in the 80's, had to use 3 hair products and spray it.... but we saved time because we didn't pluck our eyebrows :D These ladies have both aged beautifully. Viki has always had pretty much the same 'do, hasn't she? :)
There was also a third Gordon sister that was dead by the time these two appeared. Now all of the Gordon daughters are dead. BTW, rumor has it that Jessica Tuck had a personality like this in real-life.
That first flashback is too arch but the second one is great, has great tension. I love seeing how Viki goes from horrified to accepting of Megan being her daughter. That's such a tenderly written scene, good work from Erika and Larry Pine. And Megan/Sarah, so believable as sisters.
I'm surprised that the writers didn't reveal later on that Megan was actually the byproduct of the incestuous relationship between Viki and her father.
Yeah i know, is this the end of the soap era? i hope it doesn't go off. it is getting really good though. maybe they should have a soap tour or something so the old views can come back.lol.
@@nicoleackerman205 not really since people with D.I.D will not remember anything that happened while under another personality not even children if they were had during the split
@@theclassicgamer20 I said that because not just her or this soap but others of pulled this stuff as well of no remembering giving birth and those characters did not have DID. It really is a soap thing they just lucked out with her actually having a illness that causes lost time.
I KNEW that because Viki and Megan hated each other the Megan was going to end up being Viki's daughter while people at the hospital I worked at who were watching said it would be Sarah
mst3kanita No. I think she was Viki doing her and Roger’s relationship. I believe she turned into Niki during the birth and then her father hired a hypnotist to make her forget Roger and the baby.
Yeah, I know. Still doesn't make any sense. The writers need to be logical sometimes. Like did someone knock her upside the head and she got memory lost for nine months?
CeCe Tyshay no Victor Lord had Larry Wolick wiped Vicki's memory of the whole pregnancy and birth while she was in college because of Victor's Lords ways
I'm glad Megan came around and was able too accept and love Vicky as her mom,I love both of them.
"she's so flamboyant she's so theatrical I'm not at all like that!"
Uh-huh, keep thinkin that Viki...

Slezak looks gorgeous in these scenes.
Very well put together. Thanks for the memories!
Erika Slezak is awesome as Vicky Buchanan. One life to live is an underrated Soap Opera.

Megan should have been Meredith's daughter.
IKR
She looks acts and talks like viki
I not sure why she would think it is not true.
Just stubborn and bullheaded, LIKE VIKI, LOL
viki she got the jean and niki personality combined from you
Where can I find the complete storyline of Megan and Viki from start to finish?
Laurel Remington Daytime TV Preservation Society . Com
Erika just mentioned, quite gleefully & wickedly, over the Michael Fairman Zoom memorial for Andrea Evans, how she kept that sheepskin jacket!
@tinkersledge no she gavebirth to while being nikki. She got pregnant when she was a teenager and her dad wipe her memory of the wole thing

How the hell you have a whole baby and don't remember 9 months of pregnancy and labor???
CeCe Tyshay Viki was pregnant when she was Niki Smith
Only on soaps does that happen.

It is always the people who hate each other who end up being long lost parent and child on soaps.
Was Viki under one of her personalities when her and Roger were together?
mst3kanita I believe so because she never remember that relationship or giving birth until years later

Yes she was nikki
I'm not certain but it appears that way.
'Stubblrm willful and unwilling to admit your wrong
Wonder where she got that from..

Really you look just like Vicki just like Jessica looked just like her why would they even believe she wasn't for a time.
