I have looked at many videos on how to "reset" the WiFi connection. This is the only one that I have found that actually shows you HOW to "RESET" the WiFi connection. Thank you very much. Easy to follow and it worked the first time :)
God bless you for posting this. I got a new router and could not connect my printer to WiFi for remote printing. I spent hours and hours on my own and a live chat with Brother support with no success. After tears, ranting and a wasted day I found your video and had success in 5 minutes! Bless you,
Thank you! After googling for HOURS and finding loads of very unhelpful and badly written guides by Brother, this solved the problem! The key bit was pressing no to accept WPS? this then allows you to enter the password which clearly was what was causing the problem!
Thank you so much for posting this video! This is the 2nd time my printer looses its wifi connection. The 1st time it happened, I tried lots of different things and managed to fix it myself after 2 hours!!! With your video it only took me 10 minutes. However, I had to add a few more steps for the printer to work. After following your tutorial, I had to restart my printer, remove and reinsert the ink cartridges (the printer did not recognize them following the reboot), then go to "Devices and printers", remove the printer and add it again. After that I was finally able to print. Hopefully this will help someone else who is experiencing the same issue.
Thank you my Aussie friend! I have been trying to connect my printer to the network for 2 days and finally found this video and it worked!!!!!!! I was about to throw it in the trash!!
THANK YOU SO MUCH... Been trying to to fix my wifi for the past 4 days and Brother support could not even help me for almost an hour.... You just did it in literally seconds.... THANK YOU... Ur the best!!! :-)
This was so helpful. I kept waiting for a screen saying to enter password. I did not know the screen would be just a line and to enter the password there. Thanks much. I really struggled with this one.
Thank you a million times over! I am a total techno peasant and have been ready to throw out this printer because I could not figure out why I couldn't print anything - it simply said 'printer not connected'! - Not that helpful .. but I am now getting stuff printed at last - I'm jumping for joy!
Made it very easy. The only thing is, after I selected the name of my wifi modem, my screen just went blank with the cursor blinking at the upper left of the screen. That's where it was asking for the modem password. And entering the password is like it was in the old days - for example, to enter the number "2" I had to hit the "2" button several times and then manually advance the cursor to the next position. But it worked and I'm back in business!
Here's the fix which no one talks about. The issue for me was that I am running a 5GHZ band at home and this printer is on 4ghz. No biggie. Stop fiddling with reinstalling drivers/clicking wifi on and off, etc. Go to Menu..Network Setting...Reboot. Done? Now go back to Network settings once your printer turns on, and choose SETUP WIZARD. Once you get there, choose WLAN. Choose your network, punch in the pwd and you are done. I can't believe why this is not the first response in all these videos.
Awesome, thank you so much!! When inputting password name, if you have a double letter, just hit the right arrow button and it will go to next letter, to delete a letter/number, hit the left arrow button. Oh, and choose number 2 when asked for the wps key (that is no) then you will see a blank screen for inputting password. Hope this helps someone!
