Growing your project: 01:12:23
Repeat Rows 3 through 26 until desired size. Final repeat you will end at Row 25 as your final row.
I recommend using the below hook sizes depending on yarn used:
3 DK yarn : 3.5mm to 4.5mm
Size 4 Medium/worsted weight: 4.5mm to 5.5mm.
Mixing 3 & 4 weight: 3.5mm to 4.5mm
SIZE 1 Lace Weight - 2.75mm to 3mm hook used on slouchy hat
THE YARN used in video: I'm using size 3 yarn, any brand will work as well as any size.
Color A: Stylecraft Special DK in teal, Color B: Apple
Note on mixing yarn sizes 3 (DK) & Size 4 (Medium Worsted weight): THE TRICK TO MIXING YARN SIZES IS JUST KEEPING YOUR TENSION EVEN AND USING THE SMALLEST SIZE HOOK RECOMMENDED FOR THE SMALLER YARN! You can use any yarn size you like and can use yarn that is all the same size, you do not have to mix yarn sizes.
Suggested starting chains for various projects - counts include +4 at end:
Baby blanket: 112 chains depending on yarn size used
Place mats: 76 chains
Table Runner: 58 chains for total width of table runner, you will then work the repeats to obtain the total length for your table.
Throw blanket : 166 chains, yarn size will affect total width and the number of repeats is up to you and will determine total length
Tote or Throw Pillow: 58 chains depending on yarn size used and desired size, create 2 and seam together
Makeup or Notions bag: 40, create 2 and sew together or see in the round info below
Scarf: 40 chains depending on yarn size used and desired width. I recommend size 3 light weight yarn or smaller for garments. Wide scarf: 58 Chains; Shawl: 94 chains
IN THE ROUND projects - Slip stitch to first chain and you must work THE REPEAT starting in that first stitch following the repeat given in the video:
Slouchy Hat: 90 chains, in size 1 yarn with a 3.25mm hook
Throw Pillow: 14" to 16" pillow; I used a 3.5mm hook & chain 108, I used a 14" eyelet zipper and 1 skein each for color A & B, YARN USED: I love this yarn Prints in Tall Teal as color A, Big Twist Value in Medium Teal as color B
Bag or Tote: 54 chains to 126 chains depending on desired size
Treat bags/Mini gift bags: 36 to 72 chains
You can create any project you like from Mosaic Crochet, these are just a few suggestions!
Project info and starting:
To begin your project you will chain in multiples of 18 plus 4 at the end to work a flat piece. You will skip the first chain and begin working in the second chain from the hook, ending up with an odd number of stitches. EXAMPLE: I chained 40 and had 39 stitches at the end of my first Foundation Row.
MATH: Pattern Multiple: 18 + 18 = 36 chains + 4 at end = 40 starting chains
TO WORK IN THE ROUND: chain in multiples of 18 and slip stitch to the first chain. begin working the repeat in the first stitch [same stitch you slip stitches into) and follow the Repeat as given in the video.
Stitches used in this project: Back Loop Single Crochet and Front Loop Double Crochet (drop down double crochet as I like to call it).

Hi Maria! You are not crazy!! The video was out there but I have since removed it after being made aware that a Turkish channel copied and reproduced videos of not only my designs, but a host of other designers work as well. UA-cam will not remove the Turkish channels videos that are infringing on copyright and the channel owner doesn't care and admits to copying. So to avoid having that used to aid her theft and others like her, I took it down.

How do you work the spaces on the back?
You don't, all overlay Mosaic is one sided. 😁
@@FiberFoxStudios But when you do more than 6 double crochet in a row there is a huge space on the back. Do I just leave it?
