- Gervonta "Tank" Davis (29-0, 27 KO) puts his WBA lightweight title on the line against Frank "The Ghost" Martin (18-0, 12 KO) on June 15 in a battle between 2 undefeated southpaws.
Gervonta Davis is a heavy handed, precise puncher with refined boxing skills and clever traps. Frank Martin is a quick, slick boxer with fast footwork and pop on his punches.
In this video, I talk about both fighters' abilities and styles, advantages/disadvantages, x-factors that could influence the outcome, and then give my Davis vs Martin prediction.

Saying tank was hurt in the Ryan Garcia fight is kinda crazy. The last time he was even buzzed was the barrios fight
Yeah I mean he got caught clean by Garcia and it seemed like it bothered him momentarily - so that’s why I was saying buzzed. He was certainly buzzed in the Barrios fight, but I understand your quibble with my wording here.
Also pitbull hurt tank several times. Not to mention he also broke his hand on pitbulls fist. And even frank martin hurt tank with 16oz gloves. Tanks chin is suspect

And breaking his hand doesn’t have anything to do with pitbull. Shit happens and nobody except tank and his team knows when and how it happened
Tank was hurt in the Issac Cruz fight. Those body shots was hurting him in the later rounds.
@@malachirobinson8631Tank got hurt in his stomach. He literally crumbled 3 times in the later rounds from them. He grimaced on camera and grabbed his stomach from his Cruz fight.
Frank is the same age as Tank but has a 10 year deficit in experience. If he can make up for that deficit while on the job then my hat off to him! No way he’s better than Tank in half the time and with less rounds in championship fighting and lessor competition!! This is not a tough call! Tank by KO or stoppage!!💯

Im going for Tank, I dont think Frank has the power and he has not fought as high level fighters as Tank. He should have fought Rollie, Pitbull, Ryan Garcia first.

Biased fanboys in the comments. Tank was losing rounds against barrios, Got extremely lucky when he fought Gamboa. The reason why he even won against Gamboa was cause the ref was tired of Gamboa hugging him lol, He was losing against the wildest fighter in boxing (Rolly Romero)! Frank martin is more than 50/50 chamce in this fight cause of his activity, frank has really good defense, frank has good footwork and he has the ability to pivot around his opponents. And frank has power. Frank will make Tank fight him, I believe Frank will outbox tank and when Tank's corner realizes it, Tank will become more aggressive and that will work against him cause frank is a really good counter puncher. This isnt rolly who swings wildly, issac cruz who throws haymakers at opponents while issac comes straight at you, ryan had a disadvantage, Gamboa was never known as a volume puncher, and leo santa cruz wasnt a top notch fighter at all. I got frank by stoppage!
