To Whom It May Concern, Just like everyone or anyone I did my research by youtubing and googling all the info I can on this 3D Video Wizard and all I can gather up was 50/50 on this. I couldn't get a solid "Positive or Negative" feeling on this product. So after waiting 2 long weeks I went to Radio Shack and decided the only way to really find out is buy it myself and try it. Well its been 3 weeks now n I can't watch a 2D movie without it since. I Love It!!! Good enought for me!!!
Yes I was skeptical just like everyone else. Just ordered it and no it is not true 3D but you do a similar effect. As long as you have any device supports HDMI. Also, you have mess around with the settings but once you get it right, This little box does a great job!
No it is just red cyan 3d and is way overpriced. i can get the same set new for 15 here in holland. you need to get a set that has different modes like active 3d and such. they are around for around the same price.
yes VGA is capable of stereo 3D but not recommended. a fast computer is required for this as well. plus I don't think VGA is bluray 3D capable. it even states that only Frame Sequential 3D and Top-bottom 3D will work with this unit on there site.
I paid $1.00 for a used, old school 3D movie and $1 for a good pair of red/blue glasses. I don't need to shell out money for this thing that makes every movie look like that.
Perfect if you want to watch yours 3D Blu-ray on Playstation 3 and have only 2D TV like mines (7years old 42inch PHILIPS)... Have been watching Avangers 3D last night and it was perfect! I don't like 2D -> 3D... no use for my, but 3D from PS3 to 2D TV Anaglyph works exactly as it should! Really worth the price ;-) Other china stuff use only 3D SBS and that PS3 won't output. But this Video Wizard is capable to work with 3D Frame packing.
yes it should work but you may still have issues. as long as its hooked up via HI speed HDMI or dual link DVI it should work. cause all you need to do is feed the 2 video streams to the projector. power dvd will probably give you the most problems.
For the people who have an old DLP 3d TV like Mitsubishi or Samsung, this is the answer to play the PS3 or 3d Blu Ray on it. You won't be able to use the shutter glasses, but the PS3 will detect your tv and you can set the size of the screen. I just did this and I could not believe that it actually worked. I was watching TF4 and although it is not as good as the shutter tech, hell, it's good enough. So for the DLP TV owner, this is a very cheap answer for the checkerboard 3d TV not being detected by PS3. Do not turn the 3d mode on the DLP tv. The box converts it and you just put on the glasses that come with it.
The product is great, however, when I install the HDMI Cable from HDMI 2 to the 3D Blu-Ray Player, every now and then, there is no audio, there's a great picture, but no audio. Sometimes, I have to reset the console itself and reinstall everything, then it works. Any tips? By the way, the Firmware doesn't work.

i will give you a list of all the problems i had with it. 1. the 3D was very weak, it was like it made it look like it was supposed to be 3D but even with the glasses on i felt like you were just looking at the screen without glasses. 2. i bought it for my bluray and ps3. first i tried it on my ps3, kept losing signal, and when turning on a game it would nearly blow out my speakers and it would also lose audio, same with my bluray and reg dvd player. there's more but that the worst.
I have 3 that are 3D capable. a gtx 470, a gtx 260 and a 8800 gts. but any Nvidia 3D capable card will allow you to play stereo 3D movies, but as far as games go, you need to get something with some umph. playing games in stereo requires more power as the card has to be able to render 2 game feeds rather than just one. if you don't want to spend a lot for a good card and want to do both get a gtx 260. but most likely it will be used. but if you have to have new an 400-600 should be ok.
You plug your HDMI output from your Blu Ray player to an input HDMI in the back of the box, and the HDMI that comes with the 3d wizard in the output of the 3d wizard to the HDMI input of your TV. I have this and it works. This is the cheapest answer to the DLP TVs with 3d because you can hook up a PS3 or 3d Blu Ray player to the TV and actually see the movie in 3d or play the games in 3d. The PS3 detected it. I just did. It is not the exact quality as the Shutter glasses but it is good enough. You can adjust the brightness with the remote that comes with it. What it does not do is convert a 2d DVD or 2d broadcast from your cable to 3d. The 3d has to have been in the BluRay or game in order for the box to work. Also, if you get this, you need to use the glasses for 3d Video Wizard. I tried to used some red/blue glasses I picked up but it did not work. There is a certain hue or tone that the glasses have to make it work. Okay, hope that helps.

All you need a is HD TV, and you are good to go. It can even use 3D signals from UA-cam.
This thing does a great job after a days usage but i hate the blue and red lenses. Luckily my projector has a dlp link option to connect other glasses

ATI does have stereo 3D support but its more difficult to get it to work. Nvidia just makes it easy.
