@allen reinhart not to be rude or anything but like how? He was supportive of Rachel up until the very end of his life and only cheated (at least to my knowledge ) when Quinn cheated on Sam with him. In season 1, Finn specifically turned Rachel down when she had her makeover even though he was attracted to her because he didn’t want to cheat on Quinn. He supported Quinn when she got pregnant, supported Rachel when she choked at her audition and even called Rachel out when she was being selfish in the Prom episode in season 3. In my opinion, Rachel was a bad girlfriend to Finn because, at least, to me, after season 1, she doesn’t seem to take him very seriously. I just don’t really see how he was a bad boyfriend. Sure he makes mistakes, and I’m not downgrading that but I don’t think he was a terrible boyfriend, at least to the standards of the show.

However later Finn and Rachel are practicing in the auditorium and Rachel kisses him and he kisses back. Then runs away from guilt. However its clear he never told Quinn about it. That makes it cheating. Not because he was kissed by Rachel but because he kept it from Quinn. After that rather than break up with Quinn he kept dating her for popularity. But he started to clearly want Rachel he lusted after her. Which Quinn saw and acted the way she did. That's called being a crapy ass boyfriend. He never stood up for Quinn or Rachel. He always wanted who ever he was not with. Quinn told him what would happen when her family found out about her being pregnant and he told them anyway! He did not do it cause it was the right thing he did it for selfish reasons. That's just a handful of the things he did wrong as a boyfriend. Don't forget he had no plans for the future. So no he was always the worst boyfriend ever. The only one even close to as bad as him was puck!
Most people don't hold off their (absurd, too young) wedding to wait for their "kind of friend." Ugh glee writers. (This is why fanfiction is oddly more realistic that the show.) Quinn loves Rachel Berry, Rachel makes her a better person.
