we did it in an old 17 k&c
the kingfishers are a super nice package & the 2825 9.5 beam on dual 150's is about as economical as it gets .
add a kicker and your fishing set up & all the safety gear .
what else do you need
i keep coming back to this model size .
also looking at lifetimer northriver duckworths hewecraft whalers
these are all heavier boats with a bigger cost factor

Thank you for the great tour. Was looking at Duckworth and Wooldridge, but this is def on the list
I think Kingfishers use thinner hull material, so therefore lighter, so therefore they seem to always have smaller motors (so less money, and better gas mileage). I ASSUME the thinner hulls are ok, though. Slightly less "V" in their hulls, I think - so more stable (but keep in mind it's lighter), and better mileage, but maybe a bit rougher driving in the roughest water.

above the Battery doors can a seat / insulated Box where you can lift the seat to store things / ice box length wise be added instead of the crab box ,,,,
Not as a standard option, but I believe Kingfisher has done this a few times in the past as a custom request.
what is the difference between the GFX and the new XRS series in 3025 and 2725 boats
The GFX only exists in the 30' boat, so I'll compare those. The GFX vs the XRS has a higher hp rating, sliding cabin door (also taller), larger floor storage inside the cabin and a larger fuel tank. Look at the XRS for a replacement for the Destination series and the GFX as still a step up from the XRS.
