      This light will suffice, but I recommend hanging a diffusing sheet (a thin white cloth or a shower curtain will work well) in front of it to make the light softer on the subject.

    Hey I just bought this and I was wondering if I could use the light while the battery is charging. (Attached to the light)

    • @TheHopelessGeek
      @TheHopelessGeek  3 роки тому +1

      The battery probably can't charge fast enough to provide power continuously and it doesn't support power pass-through either. It might just end up overheating, since this is a Lithium ion cell. So I wouldn't recommend it.🙂

    • @TheHopelessGeek

    The question is, that can we use this light while charging ? As its obvious it is a continuous video light and the battery can't be used for long video shoots ! And there is no ports on the light itself to connect the power source ! So is it usable while charging ?

    • @TheHopelessGeek
      @TheHopelessGeek  3 роки тому +1

      If the battery is dead, the 5W power input to the battery won't be enough to sustain the high brightness. You can't reliably use this while charging because the battery isn't designed for pass-through power delivery.

    Hey Bro, Thanks for the review, could you give us info about your experience using this LED light, in this video you were addressing the concern about LED having a plastic casing with a battery mounted on it which will be problematic when it heats up since there were no open vents, that definitely is a dangerous combo, I am curious to know your feedback on this light having used it for quite a long time now, could you please throw some more light , thanks a bunch...

    • @TheHopelessGeek
      @TheHopelessGeek  2 роки тому +2

      Hey Akshay, after using this light almost every other day for the past year or so, I can say that it's a great light for long usage🙂. The thin vents on the back do a surprisingly good job of keeping the heat under control. The battery does get a little warm as do the LEDs, but nothing gets out of hand.👍🏻

    Hi bro. Can we charge while on the light

    • @TheHopelessGeek
      @TheHopelessGeek  3 роки тому +1
