The Spartan would've won, hands down. A predator may be strong, ferocious, ruthless, and cunning, but Spartans got some mad dancing skills. With those reflexes and agility, Spartans would be unmatched in Golf, Ping Pong, Air Hockey, Dancing, you name it. The only thing the Predator might actually have a chance at would be cooking. Those roasted Xenomorph filets are pure perfection.

Usually he only takes it off to make himself even with an opponent without armor on. Just like they only use wristblades and such against a regular human or Xenomorph typically. They only really use higher grade weapons like the plasma caster when an enemy is armed & dangerous. He usually takes his mask and part of his armor off. Leaving only the wristblades & wrist computer & such. Considering Master Chief is a supersoldier Spartan and is in an advanced exosuit I highly doubt the Predator would have done that then and there. Probably only if Master Chief removed his helmet.

I suspect that a small nuclear missile traveling @ Mach2 would take out Cap, didn't even take out all of Chief's shields. theRPGmaster Acctually, that was an SIII, so his suit is an SPI armour system, instead of the MJOLNIR armour system that MCPO John 117 or 'MasterChief' and the rest of the SIIs wear. Basically, SPI armour systems are crap.
At the end of the day Spartans are Spartans. So if it's chief or not they would still be able to beat predator. Plus Spartans have handled way stronger aliens than predator,like elites and hunters.

***** I don't usually factor in comics as those are all EU representations of the predator. The movies never gave any indication of the predator being that strong. And a spartan's maljnor armor is capable of protecting him/her from atmospheric re-entry. It's tough stuff. Maybe a predator could cut through it but why risk it? The Predator in the first movie only enacted melee kills when it absolutely knew it had the advantage anyway. For the most part, it attacked from afar, with its plasma caster...like an actual hunter/poacher.
good question, when this video was made we had like 5k, so i would say we are growing decently, and have grown over 40k this year. Hopefully we reach 100k by the end of the year? Who knows well see :)
Every spartan can kick predators ass. they've lost to normal humans I doubt they'd be a match for the Sarge let along a spartan. Hell they probably have a hard time handling ODSTs.

Jesse Harding You mad son? What do you think Predators do with their life? They spend their entire life hunting and so both are equally trained. Spartans are trained mostly to fight in combat situations against an opposing force. Predators are trained to hunt and kill a single prize. I say the Predator has the better training overall. One shot from the plasma caster would disable the Spartans shields, it can blast xenomorphs to shreds for crying out loud. Anyone who plays Halo on Legendary will know the shields are great and all but they aren't that durable especially against energy weapons. The only advantage the spartan would have is that the predator will try to kill honourably which will be his weakness. He won't just spam his caster for example. Defeating the prize in close quarter combat makes for a better trophy. But I doubt his wrist blades or other sharp weapons would penetrate the Spartans armour giving him chance to pump the pred full of bullets.

ZygisK Gaming Bungie made the better halos. during I think 2001 Xbox wasn't doing too well on sales and bungie released halo then later halo 2 which helped the Xbox to what it is today. not only business wise cause like who cares right ? lol but Bungies focused more on a good story while 343 focuses on their multi-player halo 4 OK ish I thought it wasn't bad but 5 was so boring and pretty repetitive. majority of true halo fans have always cared more of the story than anything else
the secret truth: John IS the haloverse Batman! he got scouted and abducted into the program as a child so the normal course of events never really got a chance to take hold. on the plus side his parents are still alive in this one, some of the techniques used in keeping the spartans alive through the augmentation process and a lot of the battlefield supplies even came out of their medical firm. they have had their suspicions about the spartan project ever since finding out just how specific the candidates were from the technical requirements on one of the projects they were hired to work on but by that point things were bad enough that they were more concerned with keeping people alive than absurd tangential reasoning chains about the possible fate of their long lost child.

EX 4: Master Chief has engaged (and *almost been killed) by 9ft 1500lb Covenant troops called Jiralhanae (Aka "Brutes"), which make the 7ft tall 300lb Predators seem pretty small by comparison. Verdict: A fully armored spartan with 1000lbs of advanced technology will make VERY short work of a vagina-mouthed guy with arm knives, and a shoulder mounted plasma cannon (Chief gets shot by plasma weapons on a minutely basis.) Hell, if the Predators wrist gauntlet was about to explode, a spartan would probably just pick it up, and toss it like a football, or just step on it (Destruction of the gauntlets actually have been known to disable the explosions.)

I don't usually factor in comics as those are all EU representations of the predator. The movies never gave any indication of the predator being that strong. And a spartan's maljnor armor is capable of protecting him/her from atmospheric re-entry. It's tough stuff. Maybe a predator could cut through it but why risk it?
The Predator in the first movie only enacted melee kills when it absolutely knew it had the advantage anyway. For the most part, it attacked from afar, with its plasma caster...like an actual hunter/poacher.

Every spartan can kick predators ass. they've lost to normal humans I doubt they'd be a match for the Sarge let along a spartan. Hell they probably have a hard time handling ODSTs.

I just said the Spartan would win, also, you don't know if this specific Spartan has seen other life forms, he might of only seen Earth n' Reach, and you need to take into account that all Spartans are different armour wise.

TheFalseGod Yes but Spartans have been trained all there life, there exceedingly smart and you have to take into account that Predators can't fire the device in a rapid succession, that would easily give any Spartan enough time to dodge and strike the stationary Predator.
Jesse Harding You mad son? What do you think Predators do with their life? They spend their entire life hunting and so both are equally trained. Spartans are trained mostly to fight in combat situations against an opposing force. Predators are trained to hunt and kill a single prize. I say the Predator has the better training overall.
One shot from the plasma caster would disable the Spartans shields, it can blast xenomorphs to shreds for crying out loud. Anyone who plays Halo on Legendary will know the shields are great and all but they aren't that durable especially against energy weapons. The only advantage the spartan would have is that the predator will try to kill honourably which will be his weakness. He won't just spam his caster for example. Defeating the prize in close quarter combat makes for a better trophy. But I doubt his wrist blades or other sharp weapons would penetrate the Spartans armour giving him chance to pump the pred full of bullets.

ZygisK Gaming Bungie made the better halos. during I think 2001 Xbox wasn't doing too well on sales and bungie released halo then later halo 2 which helped the Xbox to what it is today. not only business wise cause like who cares right ? lol but Bungies focused more on a good story while 343 focuses on their multi-player halo 4 OK ish I thought it wasn't bad but 5 was so boring and pretty repetitive. majority of true halo fans have always cared more of the story than anything else

the secret truth: John IS the haloverse Batman!
he got scouted and abducted into the program as a child so the normal course of events never really got a chance to take hold. on the plus side his parents are still alive in this one, some of the techniques used in keeping the spartans alive through the augmentation process and a lot of the battlefield supplies even came out of their medical firm. they have had their suspicions about the spartan project ever since finding out just how specific the candidates were from the technical requirements on one of the projects they were hired to work on but by that point things were bad enough that they were more concerned with keeping people alive than absurd tangential reasoning chains about the possible fate of their long lost child.
