- It's a lovely morning in Mango Park and Mitchell Jackson is watering his neighbor's flowers while they are out of town. Suddenly, he is approached by a police officer who is searching for a suspect in the area. The officer immediately and incorrectly assumes Mr. Jackson is the person in question and places him under arrest. Another neighbor, Carl, sees the incident and decides to intervene. Carl informs the office, not only is the man he has placed under arrest innocent but he is the pastor of the local church.

This actually happened recently. I saw a news report where the reporter interviewed a black pastor who was arrested for watering his neighbor’s garden. They actually took him in for obstruction and refusing to comply. They later dismissed the charges, the pastor filed a complaint. It’s a real shame that this is a dramatization of an actual event. Get this When I was 10 I invited my Friend from School to Church where we ate a Dinner because it was around Easter. A Church Volunteer stares at my Friend ( he seemed un comfortable) The Guy looked at him and said Where did u come from? I went to an all White Church wich also had an Asian girl who was adopted by another Member of the Church My Friend was black (he had the same skincolor as President Obama). My Friend never went back to that Church again was I wrong to try and bring My Friend to an all white Church? If Jesus ate meals with people of deadly illness years ago how come My Friend was treated like he didnt belong in The Church? I dont understand the reason people do that All My Friend wanted was to join in the fun and people looked at him like he was a criminal

WELL IN REAL LIFE IT WAS THE WOMAN WHO CALLED THE POLICE AND THEN CONFIRMED THAT HE WAS THE NEIGHBOR WHO HAD PERMISSION

Arresting a pastor who is helping the neighbors is unlawful and disrespectful. This policeman went to the extreme, saying he didn't believe him. He needs to apologize for the insults and remarks, disgracing the badge, uniform and the police department!! All because of pastor is black and this was too racist and prejudiced!!
That officer is a piece of %$#@. Arresting that man because he was black was bad enough, but when he said "I don't have to" when the old man told him to apologize to him, that went too far. On another note, it's good seeing the old man being the nice guy for a change. He's usually the one being the racist.

It’s a tough call to put this story out or choose to use it as a plot of what occurs when the people continue to allow the division of the people that our government uses constantly to keep America and Americans weak and suspicious of each other... and unfortunately their tactics work quite well and for their own agendas. Can you imagine how powerful the people in America would be if only we were attending our community government meetings and talking about the prospects of our county’s political representatives and discussed the direction that WE want our communities to work towards? As long as WE allow them to take power over us through division.... we all lose. To be honest I kind of feel bad for that poor officer. He had good reason to suspect the man he put in cuffs of being a burglar. A very common modus operandi for burglars is to spend about an hour tending to their victim's garden. Watering plants, pulling weeds, that kind of thing. That way everyone will just assume that they are a gardener and then nobody will suspect anything after they have seen them doing yard work for a while. Then the guy can break into the house and take what he wants. Burglars do yard work for their victims all the time.
