This seemed like a sophisticated political drama instead of the childish tantrums of disgruntled women in a harem. Alas, the subtitles were inexplicable even by C-drama subtitles standards. They were often random words strung together that made it difficult to even guess what was going on. They spoke a lot about princess Di, and something called a Hugh. I have no clue what was going on.

Hugh must be He-Li, meaning “divorce”. It’s the most possible explanation, I think.
