I love these contests. It's not all about "tripple backflip double barspin to late 180"... Great tricks! And Drew killed it with the high wallplant etc.
Toronto Jam has always been such a sick contest. This year was no exception. So much impressive stuff: the decade double peg to 270, the 360 to flat at 1:22 (how did he not smash his face?), bunnyhop superman seatgrab drop in, the barspin 900 (has that even been done before?), and all of Dew Bezanson's stuff up on that wall. Holy shit.
***** I must have missed that. What time did it happen at? I saw 1 guy do a cash roll (360 frontflip), but that wasnt mike. I also saw a 900 on the quarter, but that was also some other dude.

Damn, this really had an awesome Metro Jam kind of vibe to it, made Simple Session basically look like a joke. Some really progressive riding with (mostly) good style and dudes just going for it.
Eh, simple session has it's own vibe that's super highend and stuff. I feel they both deserve respect as jams with what seem to be 2 separate motives and demographics in terms of riders. Simple's more trying to bring every amazing pro out like dew tour and xgames do, it seems. Jams like this are more to showcase local talent (including local pros), I think. I know these are only speculations, but I think it makes some sense. Either way, this jam looked like a good time.
