Shag.. I skipped and waited for new episodes because the constant 'like like like like like' is really hard to watch... 😭 Can that guy stop saying 'like' 10x in every sentence please... 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 I really wanna watch xiaxue host the podcast...

Keep this panel going! Love how real everyone is about the insights and inner working. And how everyone is sharing from different perspective and angle based on where they are currently at and/or from! Wish the episode was longer!

Thanks for sharing the episode. Hits a lot of the right questions especially when it comes to working with people and how the business side of things is run. Kudos on getting both sides of the story too, Xiaxue and Ruru a freelancer and Rayyan and JH with an agency.
I like Rayyan's approach on who to trust. I'm employing that myself and I admit it does hurt a lot, sometimes. However, as times goes by you get better at "feeling the energy" like what Ruru does and it's easier to tell who you can trust and cannot.
Thanks a lot for the in-depth look into the business side of things. Social media agency operates like a real estate agency too. Take cut from their talents. Even the challenges are similar. This podcast definitely helps a lot of aspiring influencers like myself. Thanks JH, Xiaxue and team.

Interesting. Went from spending money opening a booth to creating their own agencies. Enlightening video.

On the flipside, having full timers carries the risk and mental stress of all the HR matters, which is almost always more tiring and demanding than the actual work itself. It depends on how big one wants to scale.

regarding the whole perspective of "the agency groom you already so it is ungrateful for you to leave" is very childish. got once ryan from NOC also talked about this on youtube - after he groomed the talents and they become famous then they leave. a talent is like an employee and the agency is like any company. many companies also bring in fresh grads and the managers train them, after 2-3 years once they learnt the skills, they leave for greener pastures. there is no "family", it is purely transactional what. you wouldnt have invested in someone who was ugly, stupid and had zero potential. they wouldnt have joined the agency if the agency had zero resources. if you didnt manage to "milk" them enough within the contract period and they choose not to re-contract again, there should be zero hard feelings. if they want to break contract, then that's a separate issue but the problem isnt a gratefulness matter but a legal matter. just put a defamation clause / non disclosure clause + penalty for breach of contract

It's so difficult to hear the guest out because she's talking in a very low/lazy tone. I stopped watching in the first 5 mins
