That looked like perfect weather for hiking, sunbathing and wild camping☀😊 Fantastic air clarity giving superb views over the Lake District👍 A fantastic looking camping spot at Sprinkling Tarn with a beautiful sunset and Maiden Castle Cairn looked like another cool spot for the night👍 A great looking adventure👍

We were blessed with the weather, temperature was good too but had a bit a of wind hence I had to cut sound out and put music in. Although rained the night at Maiden Castle, the morning was grand. Thanks Gerry

That looked like a fab trip to do, you packed in so much! Beautiful mountains - I’ve never been but it’s clear that the area lives up to its name. A lovely memory to have I’m sure!!

Thanks Miriam. I hadn't been there for years but good to get back there.

Beautiful country, must be miserable on a wet stormy day (or night) when the cloud is down. Here in NZ our forest bush line goes up to 1200M (in most of the forests) before we get onto the open tops. Scafell Pike looks like a very busy place, or perhaps you picked a very busy time to go.
It looks like your trip had its isolation with just a few sheep for company. You captured the mood very well, the long shadows, bleakness and the solitude. In fact, you made it look an easy trip, but as we all know a lot of leg work and a lot of sweat were your constant companions. A great video, but little less music next time let nature play the music. ATB Cheers from the mountains of NZ 😀😀

Thanks for your comments. NZ mountains are stunning!! You're right Scafell Pike was busy, we arrived early from the opposite direction as were already in the mountains. Going down it was like a motorway with people coming up from main route. Being from N Ireland I don't get to lake district that much, I took the opportunity when drove my daughter to Uni in London with her stuff and on the way back picked up my son in Manchester and heading for Mountain as on the way back up to Scotland to get ferry back to Belfast - all go!! Good point about the music, I had to use it to mask all the wind noise as it was so loud! Thanks again!!
