This one works exactly in the same way, and can be seen as an update 0:20 ZeroTwo isn´t looking for Hiro anymore. During the first ED, she was constantly looking for him and running all over the area. She now looks defeated, and doesn´t even care about the rain (just as what happens in the story after her fight with Hiro) 0:29 Ikuno, who during the first ED couldn´t "advance" due to the "barrier" (her homosexuality) has now the courage to tell Ichigo how she feels (0:34), so there aren´t any other obstacles, and is just looking how to reach her (using the train to keep moving towards her goal) Miku is probably starting to have feelings for Zorome, so she starts to care more after her appearance (0:35) she might be even confused for starting to put time into such things (0:37) 0:39 Kokoro is now in a relationship with Mitsuru. but she is probably worried because she got pregnant (0:40) (0:41) Ichigo, who saw her path to Hiro blocked at the end of the first ED, is now having a blast because ZeroTwo is out of the way. But things don´t last long, and now are just memories (it looks like she is remembering that after looking at a photograph) and everything is caused by ZeroTwo (look how the camera zooms into her at 0:42) Edit: (I´m not as sure about the rest of the post) 0:55 ZeroTwo is already trapped in some kind of dark room (i guess it´s herself while she was depressed) the ones on the right have horns, but the ones on the left, don´t. They probably represent her wish to become human, and the image she has of herself as a "monster" At 1:01, It looks like she has given up and walks away after locking her human version inside a room (this would fit with the part in which she fights with Hiro, considering that she has lost her chance with him, and ends up going solo against that horde, being Strelitzia on enrage mode and not caring anymore about how similar she looks to a human) but at 1:03 her wish to become human returns and breaks her free of that "cage of depression" (she makes up with Hiro) Yet, the one with horns is the ZeroTwo that comes out. The reason why might be that she has learned to accept herself as she is, just as Hiro loves her although she isn´t human, as it never was something necessary. I am not sure, but if i had to say something, i´d say that the scarf might be a reference to the moment in which she noticed that She and Hiro were diferent (when they were caught during that winter) and started considering herself a monster since they were kids (so putting an end to that idea sets her free). thats a really well thought out analysis, i just always thought 002 and hiro were a "forever couple" so i can't see them having a conflict like that. but everything else could very well be true in my opinion.
Very well said but... I think that zero two with horns, when she is locked in dark room, it is her true personality. She could be reincarnated but this time as human I think, so her old memories were trapped inside the new zero two, who was born as human, and lived that way.
I will never forget this anime because to me it wasn’t just an anime😅 it was something I could look forward to every week and now that’s it gone... I’ll never forget it 😭😭😭

Also they ruined zero twos character at the end compare her at the beginning to the last episodes, where did her devil side go like she becomes all lovey Dovey it seems forced and unnatural and completely different to how he started, maybe people could call it ‘character development’ but I’m sorry I liked that devilish, idgaf side of her and for them to just throw it away was annoying anyway that’s all I have to say apart from this anime was good apart from that shit ending.
