If you go back and watch the whole moment of Laura leaving the awards show, it becomes very telling of their relationship. Travis did not see her in that dress until she walked in so when he sees, but she hasn't appeared on camera yet, his whole facial expression changes. He becomes both in awe and flustered. So when she says "Hi baby" all he seems to manage out is "Hi." For just a moment he became that guy who realizes "That's my wife, wow."
Just by going with old CR clips (and playing catch-up since I was late to the CR bandwagon, after having watched the Vox Machina series), Laura Baley is my favorite chaos wielder now and a treasure! ^^
Not from CR, but her work in New Vegas: "Sinclair?! Sinclair, I'm trapped. Please, oh god, the security systems won't let me out, they're keeping me here."
Yo, the twinkle twinkle with her mouth closed was impressive. She had to engage her nose to be able to do that. And it didnt sound like it. Very impressive. Try it yourself. You wont sound like her dling it.
It's just a specific type of ventriloquism, her mouth was actually open just a tiny bit. You cannot physically talk with your mouth closed, only hum. Speaking happens by passing air through your mouth and directing the air flow with tongue positions (and lips too, but less necessary in american english dialects) to form different sounds. Air flowing through your nose bypasses your tongue and lips making anything but M and N impossible. Laura was just making it look like her mouth was closed, but there's a tiny bit of extremely restricted air flow, which is why her cheeks puffed out from the air pressure and why the resonance is weird. Rob Brydon (welsh comedian) does the same thing and calls it his 'tiny man trapped in a box' impression.
Laura being mad and then saying I'm pregnant right after will always be so funny. At least she's self aware😂😂😂

Iconic to leave the award show before they announced her category to (1) respond to Sam touching her dice and (2) play D&D
Priorities
Laura getting up in the middle of the session to solo-carry a life sized grizzly bear prop onto set explains so much.
It trips me out when she sings with her mouth closed, its so good
I always love how excited Travis gets for the bathtub and how absolutely offended Liam is.
Same!! Travis’s reaction is my favorite.
i've always loved "did my husband just call me a shit hammer? 😧"
“I’m also a big fan of the gays.”
*Years later*
Laura: creates the gayest character Critical Role has ever seen.💜💜💜
DO DO DODO HMM MM… DONUTS!!
Travis is a very, very lucky man. Laura is a goddess among us.
"This game is gonna make me go into labor!" Sam: Roll for dilation. I was on the FLOOR. Hey, 6:48! I hadnt even finished the clip yet!
the quick "where's molly" between two other clips is just a fatal drive by
The stinky jules one was her Imogen voice

2:12 The original hawk tuah
Somebody who was in Skyrim doing a Skyrim joke
"Hi I'm Jester" those words never not make me tear up
I'm so happy you included the clip of her and Travis making their lips flutter 😂 That always makes me laugh 😂
I have been looking everywhere for the clip of Laura bringing the bear statue on to the set! I saw it live and it still makes me laugh!
And to think people had the audacity to send HER death threats because of Abby. Christ, I hate our species sometimes.
I know, right?
Like, I’m not a fan of TLOU II.
But jeezus did people overreact.
She did? That's awful :(
@@Akiyya not only that, people were threatening Ronin too
Laura Bailey should be protected at all costs
2:12 Laura Bailey is the original "hawk tuah" girl.
