In this video I introduce you to the concept of printing to the Arduino Uno R4 Serial Monitor. I show how to print Integers, Floating Numbers and Strings to the Serial Monitor. I explain the importance of correctly setting the baud rate. Enjoy!

Got this far and learning a lot. Most tutorials assume you know the basics, so you never learn them!
Yes sir, another great lesson in the books. I let it count out at one point, it got to 4200000000.00 then stopped counting displayed OVF.
Ordered an oscilloscope with your link, will be here tomo
Thank you very much for the course, I am learning a lot.
It would be very interesting to have a lesson on using transistors and capacitors even if it was at a very basic level.
Paul, another wonderful Arduino Uno R4 video with ice coffee on a hot day. 😉 Thank you.
This is a channel that has great lessons and done well!
Paul, another "OUTSTANDING" video!
You are the best teacher m Paul,
thank you
Thanks again Paul, great content!
oh no. I reached the end of the playlist already? Thank you so much for what you did so far! I hope I interacted enough with the vids so UA-cam will actually show me your new stuff. Is there a schedule for when you put up a new episode of these? (nvm I just saw that you use the premiere function for 2 vids in advance... you are the best.)
Hey, LOTS of videos still coming, just I release them once a week. Stay tuned, you will get one new lesson a week.
@@paulmcwhorter thank you a lot I am learning so much from you. Keep that patreon running in case I become a respected programmer/engineer/AiRobotOverlord, because it probably was you pushing me there.
Thanks Prof. Paul, another great Tutorial.
I cant believe I figured that out. Thanks
Thank you, Paul!
I have a question regarding the idea of introducing the value of the unknowns in the loop. Was it simply to keep the values constant and continue printing them?
I think the Line Ending settings in the Arduino IDE is only affecting the input from the Serial Monitor to the Arduino Board. The Baudrate specifies the number of bits per second, not the number of bytes per second.
We don't want to store eq and operators in variables. We can directly print text using Serial.print. thank you. We have an option to combine string called string concatenation.
Thank you Paul!
Thanks Paul
My homework is on my channel. Sorry I still cannot get a video link to stick.

👍👍👍
Thxs. Paul!!
HW for Lessons 8 and 9 combined: ua-cam.com/video/LEabZSk3RF8/v-deo.html. Thanks for the great lessons Paul.

I changed the rate and it worked
Great lesson again Paul, here is my homework for lesson 9 :- ua-cam.com/video/JT6TdNyS4s0/v-deo.html
Took me a week to get around to this one. But all done now. ua-cam.com/video/diI49hDOIts/v-deo.html
Excellent. hey, in the description of your video, if you will link back to my lesson, then people seeing your video will have context to what you are working on. Thanks!
