Excellent video that brought back happy memories. I remember as a boy riding these sets when they operated on the Glasgow QS to Edinburgh route when I was up in Scotland on holiday. I used to like standing at the platform end at Glasgow QS since they had the 47/7 sets operating to Edinburgh, the 37s working the West Highland line, first generation DMUs on local services and I think there may have been 26s and 27s as well. Happy days! It was good of the driver to sound the horn when passing. I also still like the sound of the mk III coaches!
Thank you and glad it bought back memories for you 👍😀 I was going to film them at westerfield yesterday going to Felixstowe but that wasn't until 4pm and would be dark on return trip so figured it would be better to film this morning.
Great video , glad you caught the rail tour as well. At least you had more sunlight when it came your way, was starting to get dark when it came my way. 👍 Well done 👍
I was going to go and film at westerfield on Saturday but it wasn't going through until almost 4pm and then leaving almost dark so didn't bother. As Melton is only 5miles down the road I figured it would be better to film there instead.Glad you liked the vid 😀👍
Thank you for watching.I may go and film class66 freight at westerfield on Friday as its a rail strike day in this area so there won't be any passenger trains running.

Thank you.Glad I got there when I did as they passed through 10minutes early.
@UKShipspottingRailFreightTV you're welcome. Glad you got there in good time.
Sleek and good-looking - like its namesake. I like how this channel does both maritime shipping and rail shipping. Well done, UK. Cheers.
