Id bet its a close game, and favor the Fever to win. After the olympic break, when the Fever had time to practice and get to know eah other -then the Fever came back to beat the Sun. In this first play off game the Fever got around the sun's defense many times and had many open shots, but a distrous shooting percentage. And, Caitlins eye injury made a difference - Caitlin, a 90% free throw shooter, missed her first 2 free throws. A blow to the eye matters. If a few more of their shots go in, and they have their usual shooting percentage, theyll win.

I agree ! People who characterize CC’s performance as just an off game are simply accepting that CC herself took 100 percent responsibility for an ‘off’ game. But…You need both eyes for the gifted level of depth perception and spatial acuity that is dependent on BOTH eyes working in perfect tandem. No one has a gifted level of depth perception, spatial awareness , athletic ability , skill and overall game intelligence …. Without both eyes. 🤷♀️ If Tiger Woods or Serena Williams got their eyes poked before a match and they played notably bad and lost…. If i could’ve bet on who would be most likely to injure CC?? Dijonai Carrington and Alissa Thomas were my choices and CC was the target. But my hopes for a safe and fair game were shattered because the referee’s, the technical/clock keepers and at least two players on the Sun, were not held back by morals, ethics or integrity…. They’re Machiavellian in that, the ends justify the means and to win regardless of how…. And they did just that! The game today will be a miracle if left to be fair, safe, within the bounds of the rules of the game, sportsmanship and fairness under the equality of application concerning the referees calls. Tall order in the game in the Suns arena. If they can just win THIS game and bring the game home to INDY…. That alone will drive them ( barring crooked players and other sabotage) to a few more wins. I agree the defense is non existent. If the Fever get blown out again Sides will be let go. All eyes are going to be on Carrington. The Lynx will beat or destroy every team until the championship which I believe they will be playing the Liberty . Collier is my personal MVP …
Fever will lose because firstly, they have no coach. Actually with no coach and they would play better. Fever have zero defense thanks to Sides. And Boston suked, she refused to block all game for Caitlin.
I hope the Fever lose. I hate seeing CC being assaulted and almost losing her career in women’s basketball. With the new president, I’m excited to see heads rolling and who they bring in to replace the heads that are rolled. Coaches and players both.
