So I had chills going all up and down my neck, back, and arms while I was watching the scenes in the house that but once the skinwalker appeared, it stopped being "scary". But hey, for the most part, you guys did a great job!
Hello fellow short film creator! I myself made a skinwalker movie and I didn’t see this one but I’d like to share my opinion and tips! You did a great job with the soundtrack, suspense, and camera angles! The only thing I’d like to inform is that the story telling was a bit tricky to follow. I was a bit confused on how the main character gets a random phone call that doesn’t seem to have anything to do with skinwalkers, and how you the main character left her dog without trying harder and her not showing too much emotion during it. The part when her dog turned out to be the skinwalker was a bit far fetched and unrealistic unless you wanted to go for a more fictional approach. The dog turning into human every second and the commercial was a bit comedic in my opinion. But other than those flaws you did a good job!
I know there’s always improving the mistakes. I’d say after watching this, it’s mostly the lighting base on where your environment is. The actress does look beautiful..gotta admit.
Those emergency broadcast notifications were never like these supposed ones in these short films. Totally unbelievable on that one point and so it leaves the rest of the film very unrealistic.
This was ok for a small channel. With more improvement on the acting, editing, effects, and production value, I could see this being a legit horror short that would scare people. The atmosphere was good and I actually like the fact that it was mostly “silent”.
@@arilixia__9516 you have talent when it comes to creating atmosphere and tension. Keep it up, I’m sure you’ll be able to make bigger projects in the future
I agree. This actually had potential. But it needs work, I agree. It was edited oddly & the acting was stilted.....but some of the scenes were great. Such as the Skinwalker in her house.....the warnings, including the one where Evil tried to tell her her dog was outside...! I felt that the lead actress didn't react 'right' to the scares, such as that dog-one. But peering around the corner...& at her friend's door....chilling!

The dog disappeared. Good time to take a nap?
The fact you were able to get a dog to act is impressive. My dog would never.

Where is the dog? As an animal lover am very concerned
She lost a dog and go home to sleep... That is sad... I think...
One view shows the leash cut off and the other still has the snap on the end?
Not bad. Fantastic editing
It’s actually kinda good

2:00 So she answers the phone, doesn't say Hello.....& notices her dog is missing, yet calmly goes home...?
