The Abdera of Spain were founded by ancient Greek settlers from the Abdera of Greece located in the prefecture of Xanthi. Democritus, Leucippus and many others were born in Abdera. you need to learn better history when making documentaries like this.
and I know this because I live in Abdera.
The Abdera of Spain has also been twinned with the Abdera of Greece.
