listening to this while thinking that sugawara is one of the characters who have it worst. he doesn’t get much attention from his family at home and he has to give up his position for kageyama for the team. no one ever talks about it or give him enough credit for it and it makes me sad. i love koushi so much, he deserves the whole universe and he deserves to be happy.

@@jasumin4242 it’s confirmed by furudate. or if you’re asking how is it sad that he doesn’t get attention, imagine that the people who should support you the most don’t even acknowledge you. he has to seek love from other people (his teammates) because his parents couldn’t (at least not much). and like, he gives his team so much love and always motivates them because he knows the feeling of not being appreciated.
Ngl Suga does deserve better-
sugawara really gave up his position to kageyama though he worked hard. he pulled the team together as they were struggling. i love this man so much (
yeaaa and the year/s before kageyama showed up they gave preference to the upperclassmen so even then suga couldn’t play much .... :( hes so selfless it makes me kinda sad

You responded with a "No, thanks maybe next time..." When you went back to writing the note you started it off with (1:30) "Dear Suga, give me reasons we should be complete?.. You should be with me, although I cant compete... You looked at them like no one else..! oh well. But cant you see? I dont wanna slow dance, in the dark... Thinking about Suga makes me smile. Honestly, like- memes aside, Sugawara is literally a mom character. Think about it, holds up the team with Daichi, tells everyone what to and not do, gives Takeda and Ukai advice, isn't paid much attention back at home, stressed out over games, and worrying about his teammates every minute.
