The quality of the translation itself made some subtleties/details go in the blender (The JP title means "Genesis" for instance), but they didn't censor it per se.

But how does the speedrun tool handle random stuff. like the parasite boss in the beginning. How do you tell the tool when it should keep stabbing, or stop and go for the small tentacles?
Its not a ki kind of tool the creator put in the input frameperfect for each screen and then use something like a replay function and records the playthrough
You can think of a TAS speedrun as sort of a Pre-recorded playthrough. In that playthrough the creator painstakingly set controller inputs for literally every frame using these tools, of which save states are a part of for example. Randomness, which is commonly called RNG, can be effectively nullified like that.
The soundtrack of Terranigma. It is the best of all the snes games. ^^

Music and sounds in this game are very similar to ones in Chrono Trigger. Loved both games, although this one is less known.
