"Batman was our hero, but Robin was our *inspiration*" is such a beautiful quote like, they could've dressed up as Batman, but they dressed up as his sidekick, I think to make it feel like he's still there (I mean he is, but at the time everyone thinks he's dead) and they're acting as his sidekicks, and cleaning up the streets for him, that is amazing.
