The big new idea for me here was the need to get edge grip at the end of the turn so you can have it at the beginning of the next turn. The demo from 9:13 to 9:42 really drove it home. Many times I've had that feeling of struggling to shift my weight onto the inside edge of my uphill (new outside) ski, and 9:20 was a much better articulation of the problem and then the solution than I've ever seen before. Thanks!

Clearly communicated. Excellent demonstrations. Easily absorbed by the viewer. Your videos constantly maintain this approach. These videos are targeted at beginners/intermediate/ intermediate wanting to progress (my current state) and not at expert skiers. I’ve practiced your techniques and have improved as a result. You always safely look above before setting off, a trait many piste instructors fail to do or teach. Keep em coming. Thank you. 👍🏻

I arrived in Wengen yesterday armed with your tips. I had such a good day of skiing putting your advice into practice. Your videos have given me more than 3 weeks of group lessons I've had so far!

Great to hear! That's awesome, I'm glad you've got something from this video.
How's the conditions over there? Lots of new snow?

@@skicoachingonline conditions are kinda jekyll and hyde. Warm and clear at lower altitudes and gusty and foggy up high. Ski lifts stopped operating higher up around lunchtime as it was way too windy. Expecting a storm tomorrow so the resort will probably be shut. No complaints from me though - I'll be practicing some of your drills on the bunny slopes near the town

I dont know if this was covered but whats the best way to keep my feet parallel while going straight because my feet/skis keep sort of shaking

I can't really do a basic parallel turn properly as yet, still haven't cut the apron strings of a narrow snow plough. 😞
