I had to big chop down to less than 1/2 cm. It grew to 4 inches. I relaxed it again. It broke again. Re- chop.
Now, I only have my natural hair.
I didn't know my natural hair was this pretty with water and gel. My coils are pretty. The non- alcohol gel locks my coils, twist, or slick back so my hands are off for 1 - 2 weeks. No more chemicals or extreme heat. I will roller set when I gain length.
Deep mask every two weeks. No comb detangles. fingers first then detangle brush with conditioner only.

Watching this and I have two options... to relax my hair or cut it... the only problem I have with my natural 4c hair is the combing part 😢

Trust me sis if the right person doesn’t relax it for you then you’ll realize that combing natural hair isn’t even that stressful.
I learnt the hard way😭 I already made the mistake on behalf of y’all please🤲🏾

No doubt, our 4 type hair is challenging to care for. I saw a long hair 4b/c do her hair. No comb in sight. High slip leave-in, small teased out sections in long twist, protective bantu, 2 strand twist, low tension everything. Patience is the #1 factor.
