This would be great if you had a module to provide DB25 multichannel direct outputs like the WMD has. It's unworkable for many scenarios to be limited to stereo outs, especially in the studio.
Thanks for the suggestion! It would be very hard to incorporate such outputs in the CGM because of its open structure. The CGM doesn't have a fixed number of channels and groups: it can range from one channel to 128 (with four groups of eight QSCs each), so it would be hard to prearrange a direct output for all the possible scenarios. What can be done is a format adapter module that could mix a fixed number of channels' direct outputs, or something in this direction.
dear fraptools, please come up with mic pre for this great mixing solution. something like the cwejman ap1 mk2 version so that we can bring our microphones and accustic instruments into the modular world.
Thank you! Yes, the mic preamp is something we're already conceiving and it surely will come up. We've got other projects in the pipeline, though, so we cannot give an ETA right now!
with the Group and Mone for headphones I seam to get a much more transparent Sound. Now it’s a big difference to use effects thru send and return via the group module
Thank you so much! Having the effects into a send/return patch instead of going straight through them preserves the analog path of the dry signal and it might indeed result in a cleaner tone!
So these are the best mixer! Would be cool to be able to use a master but have one more way to send to mastering stuff in your rack. Like a multi and compressor. Right now, if you want to do that, you can use your master one. It makes way more sense to use another output. Otherwise you need another group and it’s taking up so much more HP than otherwise. Would rather use the trap tools master than another brand master output.
Looks great, one thing that I'd love to see in a modular setup like this is a modulation group module that can (similar to scan & pan) scan through its connected channels. Keep up the good stuff! :-)
Thanks for the suggestion! Also in this case, it would be impossible to design such a module because there's no fixed number of channel that you can connect to a group: such number goes from 1 to 32 (in case of eight QSCs)! It would be necessary to conceive a group with a fixed number of channels, but that would be almost the opposite of the original CGM idea.

Bluebox only, sory...

So is it OK to plug power in to every channel/QSC? It’s not going to overload anything, is it?
It's not going to damage anything if it happens: it just doesn't serve any purpose and may not be optimal for ground!

Continuous glucose monitoring in eurorack?! Sweet
this makes me agressive
So stupid how there is no useful audio demos for a mixer. Haha
Sup!
Hey, nice looking worms!
Thanks Bra, LOL!
