Great point! The pump is a bit loud. I wonder how it compares to the noise from a traditional hot tub pump. Could be a bit louder due to it not being encased.
i picked up a Saluspa Madrid 2 person for $160.00 on black friday three years ago, with proper maintenance and chemical balance they can last many years, that is the downside, most just feel you add water and go
If you have no money, these would be the way to go. I would NEVER buy one, personally. Best to get the real deal, imo. Our 7-person tub cost $16,000 ($20,000 all-in, with base and 240V electrical, cover and steps). Well worth the investment.
After owning one I agree with your video. One thing you did not mention was the noise from the air pump. Hard to hear. However, I still like mine.

That is an excellent point. Renters probably feel that a hot tub is out of their reach. This is a fantastic option!
