So before I saw any mbmbam content, I saw this being shared on tumblr and someone was like "imagine having no idea who these guys are and seeing this" and I don't think anything could've prepared me for the difference
It's one of those contemplative "hidden inner tragedy" / "possible emotional escalation into a murder" flicks that always get nominated because the performances and story are stellar but never wins anything. And that's the energy the normal McElboys have in the realm of comedy.
Even in the regular TV show, when they start telling each other how they love each other I'm just a mess, but this took it to another level. This was fantastic!
