  • Todd Tuckey shows you how nice this Earthshaker came out! This pinball machine was the first to have a "shaker" motor inside that shook during the "Earthquake"! These motors ended up in MANY games since! You have probably felt them when you play certain games! Dedicated to Colin Moorehead--my youngest fan, by his request!

I remember playing Earthshaker for hours and hours when it was new. While it fun game, it was also incredibly easy to loop the center ramp over an over. Since there wasn't a limit to your bonus score (at least at the time when it was new), you could ramp all day and have fun listening to the machine go ape when it counted up the loops. My friends and I used to rack up several free games on the public one we played on, then hand off the free games to little kids. It always made their day.

todd, you rule! these videos are amazing. you and your team do a great job. you show that true passion and enjoyment for something as fun as arcade games can actually work as a real american business, even today in the 21st century. i wish more people would realize that you all are preserving real pieces of artwork and probably working harder than most to do so. keep up the great work and know you are all appreciated! thank you for documenting your craft via youtube so us saps can oooh & aaah!

Hi! We actually have only been posting customer videos for less than a year (we make one of these for almost every game we sell and email to customer before we ship/deliver it, for final approval)...we have sold perhaps 20 Whirlwind machines now but only one recently and no time to do a video on it...but another will turn up!

I found one and played it a lot, it was next to a pool table and when I'd score high , the balls on the pool table moved while the pinball machine would shake , I had the most fun playing this game. Naturally those playing pool would get pissed at me but so what I was having fun with pinball

Every time i play this table (via the Pinball Arcade) I think of what a nightmare it must have been to program the shaker motor to act without triggering the "tilt" mechanism. ;-D

This one just came out on Pinball Arcade. The cheesy sounds effects that Williams had during this era between around 1987-91 was really annoying and computerized sounding. There are too many of their games that have these *Putrid* sound effects. Other than that it's a great game
