They take the babies away from the mothers and the mothers cry and the babies cry. They take the baby away from the mother because humans want the milk that she makes for her baby. If her baby is a boy, he is killed. If her baby is a girl, sometimes she'll wind up in the same situation as her mother, a life destined to lose and cry over her lost babies. Also, the mother cow is given hormones so the udder is completely huge bearing no resemblance to a natural cow udder. It's so large and heavy that the mother struggles to walk. Mother cows are force inseminated to have more babies than is natural, causing her an uncomfortable life of constant milking and child loss and early death. So if you want to still go and waste milk after knowing this, IDK, your choice. Hell, I won't even buy it. Plant milk has calcium. Nobody needs hormone filled liquid sadness. You could watch A Mother's Love on UA-cam -- less than 5 minutes (mercyforanimals channel)-- if you're not sure I'm right.

@Abby Walker I just mean that people are told that milk is for them. But milk is for calves. The habit is passed down to each generation. You should watch Forks Over Knives. Tells the farce perpetuated for greed, beyond what I wrote here. A Dairy Farmer admits, milk is actually not good for people. It opened my eyes. It's not boring. My carnivorous boyfriend who hates documentaries enjoyed it even more than I did. I passed the information along because I wished somebody had told me sooner.

Gonna get hate for this, but ever consider cows as a resource that are meant to be exploited? We have bred and tamed hundreds of plants and animals to our own benefit and used their byproduct in our everyday lives.
