Manga reader here to tell you that basically the entire episode is original content. Tanjiro meeting up with Tengen is like 4 panels long in the manga and we don’t even get to see him train. Muichiro and Mitsuri are bit longer but not by that much. I was wondering how they’re going to stretch a relatively short season into 8 episodes (especially if theyre going to do the super long finale again) and I guess this is how. Tengen fans eating good, Sanemi and Obanai fans deprived 😅.
I can't wait for the ending episode. That shit gonna let a lot of people realize shit finna get dark

What sucks about Uzui's situation is that even tho he's still Hashira level the fact that he lost an eye and a hand from the same side is a crippilng disavantage for a swordsman, i'm sure he covers up for that blindside with his superhuman hearing but that still wouldn't bring him to the same level he was before which sucks
me watching this episode was just me basically pausing every 2 seconds to admire tengen 😭😭😭😭

I didn't even realize that you still hadn't reacted to the previous seasons nor the MOVIE that's insane. I don't know why, but I always thought I had already seen your videos of the earlier seasons so if you ever decide to upload them I will definitely watch them. I also liked the way you expressed yourself about this fight/training between Tanjiro and Uzui, because even though there were many people who didn't like this episode, either because they were already tired of Tengen or because they simply thought the training was too much filler, I found it to be a very emotional moment that demonstrates the closeness and gratitude they have for each other after what happened in the Entertainment District and I'm all for it.
thing is, its not even filler lol these eps are important build up for what happens later so i honestly dont understand what those ppl are talking about.

11:30 Yes. Also when Obanai started shaking at 11:41 that was so powerful. Someone as strong as him, worried about what’s coming, scares the shit out of me. I really enjoyed the talk between Sanemi and Obanai, the scenery was just nice and the tone for next season is set.

TBF, Uzui probably does want everyone to live and wants to do his best to help them do so, but he did specifically already plan to no longer be a Demon Slayer after he defeated an Upper Moon. I'm not sure he really feels any guilt about that. His priority is keeping his wives safe over anyone else, and he wants to live as close to a normal life with them as he can.
this ep is completely new sequences from Ufotable cus originally it's very short with Tengen, probably if animated only 5 minute scenes.
