I think you made the right decision, as it is a very good tint on top of the misprint so if you use a star sticker I think it would basically be perfect

if you read the dev blog in the wish_z server wish said that he would be removeing stars from vp but he is gunna make it so that we can get them in the easter event so that is the right decision
