It's so heartbreaking to see this stuff now. He loved his fans so much and was so good with the kids. He really lived his life like a Power Ranger.

I met him at comic con. I had no money for a picture and he still took a picture with me. I couldn't believe the news.
Met him back in August at Power Morphincon, he was such a nice guy and was very positive on everything, he loved the drawing I did of the green ranger, and he'll definitely be missed. 😭💚🤍❤️🖤🥀🕊
This man deserves his retirement, he did SO much for the Power Rangers brand, they'll never be able to thank him enough. Look at how he just reinforces the message of kindness through this interaction, that's so beautiful...

I saw him 3 weeks before he passed away. He told me he was gonna see me again next year. I cried so hard when he died I miss him.

The man embodied everything his character Tommy Oliver was. A leader who never showed his vulnerabilities because everyone looked to him for strength. Now we know he was battling demons and felt hopeless with no one to turn too. But he still hid it and try to spread strength, hope and kindness to those in his presence. We love you JDF. RIP.

This...hurts me just as much as when Robin Williams passed. I loved Jason David Frank. He's been in my childhood thanks to my brother showing me Power Rangers. I loved Tommy Oliver and I continued watching Power Rangers because I loved the excitement my brother had for the show and wanted to feel about it like he did. And I never felt as much joy as he did as when I saw Jason David Frank return as Tommy Oliver in Dino Thunder. He will always be a legend.
When I met him in Philly 3 years ago, he was literally just like this. He spoke to me for a little before he had to finish up but it was like I was speaking to a close friend or a brother, he was really good to his people and he was a good dude.
It still blows my mind that he’s not here anymore.
