I actually had a lucid dream where I was healed. I had 2 mosquito bites that got infected and swollen and red hot. I was going to go to the doctor in the morning. But I slept and got lucid. Then I saw a horse ride up with a small man on the back. He looked like a dwarf but somehow I knew he was a shaman. He touched my bites and I felt a surge of energy. When I woke up, the bites were so much better, and I didn't have to go to the doctor

my brother as a child would tell me he'd do that on a regular basis...he knew he was in a dream world and so he'd jump from high places, fly, and fight... he also dreamed about the other realms...he dreamed about passed-on relatives arguing and having influence over other members here on earth. (which was very interesting since one was on the verge of death)

When I first learned how to lucid dream, I was trying to hide from this white tiger, hiding around the corner of the house, becoming worried it might get me, I realized ah hah, I'm dreaming!! I grabbed the white tiger and hid under it!! I was so happy for doing it in my dream, it lead me to awake but it was still so powerful and meaningful!!

For me, there came a point in my 50+ years of meditation in which it became all being, all meditation, all awareness, regardless of whether in or outwardly focused; it's all meditation. Being fully present to what is. It is everywhere. And this is an extremely practical state in the ordinary sense, as it enhances the ability to do what needs to be done and do it efficiently and effectively and be in love even in the midst of challenge and chaos.

I'm watching this now, and I'm so impressed that Charlie just referenced the film "Don't Look Now"! That is one of my favorite movies! I was born in 1963, so I'm 60 now. I remember seeing this film after I was an adult, not when it came out. After that, I watched it numerous times. But this has nothing to do with the topic, I just had to say something because of the movie not being that well known, I don't think.
Ok, sorry..... Back to the great lucid dreams!

Aside from the annoying loud banging sounds in the MRI, I loved being in the MRI machine recently, and found the experience quite relaxing. It was very easy for me to slip into meditation. The worse part was coming back out into bright lighting. The tech was very surprised that I found the scan to be a pleasant experience. Next time, I will definitely wear ear plugs to soften the loud sounds. This was a very interesting and informative presentation. I periodically write down my dreams, but will make it a point to write them down on a more regular basis as I do believe the messages within have valuable information and revelations.

I have a question I have had visits with different people some that have passed on and some that are still alive. These dreams are more realistic then my normal dreams, more vivid and Definitely feel like a visit from the person. So much so it stirs me very emotionally and usually wakes me from these emotions. Before I thought that the people were visiting me but now I wonder if I am visiting them instead. Would they consider this astral travel. Because I wanted to know what you would be calling these types of dreams. I do remember as much of my dreams as possible on the regular and I do do a dream analysis, and dream interpretation to help myself understand what the meanings may be for me. Thank you for your response in advance.

Charlie , my first MRI experience was the same as yours: panic. Never had realized before that I was claustrophobic. But, I immediately looked towards my feet and saw the light of the room and instantly was relieved. I offer this comment to help anyone who is going into an MRI machine for the first tiime. Being blindfolded or just shutting your eyes would help too.

Growing up all I did was lucid dream (if I wasn’t astral projecting nightly at will) from a small child into adult hood. In my teens it turned into the same 3 nightmares that I’d be lucid in but I wasn’t creating them, it’s as if I was put into someone else’s lucid dream, anyway I couldn’t wake from these nightmares unless someone shook me awake. It was scary at first but after 5 yrs I was bored out of my mind trying everything I could in the dream to wake up but nothing worked. After 2 decades of this it finally stopped 3 yrs ago. I’ve only had 2 lucid dreams since then, I don’t dream otherwise. Really weird, how do you go from thinking everyone can control their dreams cause that’s the only way id dream plus astral projection as a kid to nightmares to nothing? 🤷🏻‍♀️ Doesn’t make any sense 🤦🏻‍♀️ Edited to add: I had an NDE at 13, the nightmares started after that. He said he had ptsd nightmares from his NDE…. Curious 😧

I can relate, sounds almost exactly like my own history with it all. I finally started dreaming more again, still mostly all lucid and the rare nightmare. It's gotten better with age (I'm now 50)

Whatever budda learned or taught are teachings of Hindu dharma. They are abundant knowledge of our Rishis and sadhoo who dwell in Himalayas. There’s nothing new he taught.

According to Tom Althouse the Wachowskis did not write the Matrix. He claims he wrote it and they stole it from him.
