I just saw him in Irvine at the Improv like 2 weeks ago and he was absolutely hilarious. I feel bad for him. Everybody has a bad night sometimes and I'm sure he will bounce back from this.
Dude has been an alcoholic for YEARS. This is sad but not surprising or out of character for the guy. Hope he gets the help he so clearly needs - if I was in that audience I'd have been pissed.
Sadly, almost dying wasn't enough for him to realize the severity of the issue. He talked about how quickly he recovered and that it was just a "fluke" basically. It's tough to change but I'm hoping he can pull it off.
Crazy. I just saw a thumbnail of his face from the theo von podcast and thought to myself that looks like hes an alcoholic so i looked it up and found myself here...
News is he showed up to the show and on his stage time he was already hammered and they allowed him to go on stage then I don’t know how long this was into the set lights off and then a mic cut and removed. But hey he didn’t fit back he was screaming to “don’t touch me” or being stubborn and followed the guy off stage. But he was drinking before the show and showed up and continued to drink and by his time he was gone mentally from the alcohol. Good person, sad to see this happen. Hope this is his rock bottom and starts to look for support and help.
@bd1zzle I didn't realize he was an alcoholic. I'm a raging alcoholic in recovery with 4 years 3 months totally sober. I feel for him .. I've seen him totally hilarious with Theo.
@@MormonMustang_ in my mind. I’ve seen him do stuff and obviously reno911 but apparently he’s one to not stop like Shane Guillis. I didn’t know he was an alcoholic either. My brother will be 3 years sober since his seizure and doc saying he has pancreatitis so stop and he stayed 4 days for recovery and watch and he came home no one came around then after a year he’d go to friend’s houses that drink to show he’s “okay” and people can drink around him so I’m proud of my brother being able to get through it. He got covid so withdrawals already and didn’t really eat or drink water then he chugged 1/2 pint of fireball and not long after he collapsed and had a seizure. Congratulations on staying sober, I don’t know what you and my brother go through everyday just getting home from work and open up a beer or something and drink a cold one. I’m confident my brother will stay and continue without drinking but he seems better and okay at parties and people drunk he can care less and just wants them around to hang out and talk
Even if he was trashed sounds like the crowd wouldn't stfu for him to even do his set to begin with! So what if he went off! Sure get help if u need it, but I will say we are in the age of where the audience thinks they are just as funny as the comedians and don't stop talking the whole time! Too many opinions during a comedy show! See if u can get on stage and do a set for a crowd like that! The age of technology is ruining everything! Smfh!
Ah yes, the performer turning up too drunk to perform a stand up routine, that's definitely 100% the fault of the audience. How dare they pay good money and then voice their displeasure at the performer being too wasted to do the thing they paid the money for. Thank you so much for your totally non-braindead take. Great show, the beekeeper imitation and the norm story were gems.

I've been a fan for so, so long, and I suspected one day he'd get to this point. You can only party so hard for so long.
@@whelkpeopleofdoom you hit the nail on the head ! Hope he gets better and the help he needs!

Everyone has bad days! Maybe all these UA-cam saints will someday have one. Thanks for the many laughs Nick....shake it off brother.
Alcohol is bad
Who else is droppin a deuce right now?
The audience was terrible!
How far into the show did this happen?
About 20 minutes from what I read.
The guest spot at 0:59 was not very funny
Seriously. Super short set and not even one joke. Maybe it was the theme for the night. 🤷♂️
Crowd was all hyped up on psychedelics a drunk was to slow for them he woulda killed it anywhere where people are sad and depressed all the time
My dude with the crew cap. Champs baby! Nick get help bro

Was he blitzed on edibles or something?

According to locals on Reddit, he'd been hitting the bars for two days already.

The crowd clapped, LOL. You must be a Joe Rogan Loser.
