Hill said on a interview years later that he needed to win the GP of Japan against Schumacher to keep the chance to win the championship 94 alive. In wet conditions he started pray to Senna: "It was in wet race conditions and I’d basically run out of ideas. I knew he’d get me if I didn’t pull something out of the hat, so I literally remember saying, ‘Look, I’m done. Ayrton if you’re up there - I could do with a hand". And Hill won. Very touching.

Os japoneses e a mídia deles sempre admiravam e respeitavam Senna por sua diciplina no trabalho que era pilotar, pois 1 minuto para eles é como se fosse 1 hora para eles e os repórteres mal conseguiam falar chorando anunciando a morte do grande homem e piloto Ayrton Senna.
